Dingbat daddy's view from his dinghy

This is one of the many pictures that Brains has taken on his early morning adventures in the hope of catching 'the big one'. It's a decent sunrise, even though the picture quality isn't tops.

The view from Poppy's school

It's hard not to get a decent view in Wellington. The hike up to Poppy's school takes about 2 mins, but it is seriously on a 90deg angle and may only take 2 mins, but is the equivalent of a 30min cardio workout!

A beautiful pic of Poppy

This is the best picture I have ever taken of Pops. Of course, she wasn't posing and was completely unaware I was even photographing her.

View from Mt Victoria down on to the Quay

This is a corker shot that Peter took on our hike up to Mount Victoria. It's looking down onto a convent, through to the Quay at Wellington. On a sunny day, you'd be hard pressed to find a better view in the world. At the top of this mountain, there are 360deg water views. And on a clear day, from parts of Wellington you can see snow covered peaks on the south island - which is a 3hr ferry ride away.

Tulips on display at the Botanical Garden - Wellington 2007

We couldn't believe how stunning the flower display in the Botanical Gardens was. It is worth a trip! We were lucky enough to have picked not only a sunny day, but the day the tulips were due to be in full bloom.
