Fathers day '08, the clouds parted, seas died down and more importantly there was no way Heather could deny me a bit of dive time. The grinning idiot is pleased with this haul. The big guy bumped the scales (cheap bathroom) at over 2kg and made a good account of himself shredding through gloves, hands and wetsuit as I held on tight to subdue him on the way back to the catch bag!!! A few moluscs and sea urchins perished as well.Wednesday, September 10, 2008

Oldies at a concert
Orrrrrrrrrrrrr, anyone would think 'we was in lub'. Perhaps it was being out in the open under a blanket of stars that put a twinkle in our eyes, or maybe for Peter, it was an alcohol induced psychosis. Anyway, in this pic we were at Jack Johnson in New Plymouth the night after Sian and Macca's wedding. It was a balmy Autumn night, a crowd of about 15,000 people of all ages, and one of the best vibed concerts we have ever been to.Dirty and his beautiful bride

Dingbat daddy's view from his dinghy
The view from Poppy's school
A beautiful pic of Poppy
View from Mt Victoria down on to the Quay

This is a corker shot that Peter took on our hike up to Mount Victoria. It's looking down onto a convent, through to the Quay at Wellington. On a sunny day, you'd be hard pressed to find a better view in the world. At the top of this mountain, there are 360deg water views. And on a clear day, from parts of Wellington you can see snow covered peaks on the south island - which is a 3hr ferry ride away.
